Attorney Rachel Ferreira is a trial lawyer that practices in the field of personal injury and joined The Flood Law Firm in 2023.  Prior to joining the Flood Law Firm, Rachel worked as the Policy and Compliance Manager for a quasi- state agency on behalf of the state of CT overseeing operations, policy and programming for entrepreneurs and small business owners throughout the state.  Through that work, she became dedicated to always advocating for those in need.

Rachel attended Western New England School of Law as a part-time evening student; she worked full time during the day and attended law school in the evening. She graduated the program early completing the four-year program in three and a half years. Despite being a part-time evening student, Rachel was very involved in her campus community. She was a staff writer for Lex Brevis, the law school newspaper, served as Vice President of the Evening Student Division on the Student Bar Association, and was a member of the Law Review. After her year as a junior staffer on the Law Review, Rachel went on to serve as the Symposium Editor for the Law Review.

Rachel is a first-generation American and has been deeply ingrained in the Portuguese and Brazilian community throughout her life. Her mother emigrated from Brazil and her father from Portugal. She is fluent in Portuguese, and advanced in Spanish having studied it during her collegiate years at the University of Connecticut. She was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Connecticut in 2013. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Rachel is admitted to practice in Connecticut. She is an active member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA) and the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA).
