Amina is an attorney at The Flood Law Firm, where she is committed to advocating for individuals and families with care, diligence, and a strong sense of justice. Her work is driven by a deep passion for human rights and client-focused representation.

Amina earned her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law and is admitted to practice in Connecticut. During law school, she served as Vice President of the International Human Rights Law Society and as Public Relations Officer for the Muslim Law Students Association. She completed her legal studies with a concentration in family law. Amina’s commitment to human rights is deeply personal, as she came to the United States as a refugee from Bosnia in 2002.

While in law school, Amina gained hands-on legal experience interning with the Civil Justice Clinic at Quinnipiac Law, where she assisted pro bono clients with immigration matters. She also interned with the General Counsel at the Community Health Center in Middletown. In addition, she has spent several years gaining experience in litigation and personal injury law.

Amina holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Central Connecticut State University, where she was inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honors Society.

Outside of the office, Amina enjoys traveling, cooking, and staying active through sports—especially volleyball. She is fluent in Bosnian and Croatian, in addition to English.
