Christina Alicea is a passionate advocate with a strong foundation in civil rights, disability, and special education law. In 2025, Christina joined The Flood Law Firm as a plaintiff personal injury attorney to continue the fight for individuals who have been harmed through no fault of their own. Bringing a deep commitment to justice and client advocacy, Christina is dedicated to helping injured individuals navigate the legal system and secure the compensation and support they deserve.
Before joining The Flood Law Firm, Christina was the first associate attorney hired at a boutique law firm focused on disability and special education law. Prior to that, Christina served as a staff attorney at Prisoners' Legal Services of New York (PLSNY), addressing conditions of confinement and investigating civil rights violations affecting incarcerated individuals across the state.
Christina’s commitment to social justice and advocacy began during law school, where an internship at PLSNY helped launch the firm’s Education Unit. The initiative focused on expanding educational opportunities in prisons and supporting incarcerated individuals, particularly those with learning disabilities, in earning their GED. Additional law school experience includes internships with the Criminal Defense Unit at Legal Aid in Buffalo, NY, and the Erie County Family Court Help Desk.
Before entering law school, Christina interned for the Honorable Francois Rivera in Kings County Supreme Court and the Honorable Sallie Manzanet-Daniels in the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, First Judicial Department in New York.
Outside of the office, Christina enjoys fitness, riding a motorcycle, exploring new places, cuddling with cats, and spending time with family and friends.
