Jill McGoldrick brings more than 30 years of litigation and leadership experience to her role as
Director of Legal Services. A seasoned trial lawyer with extensive jury trial experience, Jill has
represented both plaintiffs and defendants and has more than two decades of law firm
management expertise.
Jill began her career as a trial attorney in 1994, when she joined the Staff Legal Organization for a
major insurance carrier. Jill defended personal and commercial liability suits of all types and
tried numerous cases to verdict. Eight years later, in 2002, Jill assumed the role of Managing
Attorney, overseeing the carrier's Southern Connecticut office of attorneys and staff responsible
for defending more than 900 cases in litigation. In this role, Jill discovered her passion for leadership
and her talent for developing a successful team.
Jill switched to representing plaintiffs when she founded her own firm, the Law Offices of Jill M.
McGoldrick, LLC. in 2014. Drawing upon her extensive defense background, Jill successfully
represented numerous plaintiffs in personal injury litigation and provided alternative dispute
resolution services to assist trial attorneys in resolving cases.
Jill earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Bridgeport School of Law (now
Quinnipiac University School of Law) in 1992, and her B.A. in Political Science and French from
the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1988. She also studied abroad at L’Université de
Bordeaux III in France. She was admitted to the Connecticut State Bar in 1992 and the United
States District Court, District of Connecticut in 1994.
Jill is an active member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the Milford Bar
Association. Jill also serves her local community through various charitable organizations. She
lives by the beach in Milford, where she enjoys outdoor activities and is committed to physical
fitness.
