“I am immensely privileged to represent injury victims and their families. Fighting for fair compensation and justice for good people energizes and sustains me. One of the most important parts of my life is having committed to helping people navigate the legal system after an injury.” Martha S. Triplett

Martha Triplett

Martha began her plaintiffs’ injury practice in 2002 when she joined a distinguished civil litigation firm in Wallingford, eventually taking over as owner/president in 2008. Having previously served as an insurance company trial attorney, Martha sensed that her true calling was to represent people rather than corporate interests. Since then, she has advocated for her clients with imagination, creativity, strength, and compassion. She believes success lies in learning her clients’ unique personal stories and taking time to understand their concerns and goals.

Martha is designated as a Connecticut Super Lawyer since 2018 and is honored to be named as among the Top 25 Women Lawyers in Connecticut for 2022 and 2023. She is also selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America for expertise in plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation. She has received Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory’s highest rating for legal ability and ethics (AV) since 2000. Martha serves as a member of the Connecticut Bar Examining Committee and was a 15-year member of the Connecticut State Board of Accountancy. She also served on the Superior Court’s Civil Commission for its duration.

She is a proud member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers’ Association (CTLA), the CTLA General Tort Committee and the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and is a life fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation. Because of her background, Martha is often selected by other attorneys to arbitrate their cases.

A West Virginia native, Martha met her husband while both were students at Vanderbilt Law School. They settled in his hometown of Cheshire, Connecticut where they raised their son (who is inexplicably a math major). They enjoy hiking, music appreciation (diverse genres), and home improvement activities.
